• How long does a web design project take?

  Most sites go live in 7 to 10 business days once we have your answers and your content. The clock depends on you as much as us — the delay is almost always waiting on photos, service details, or feedback. Rush delivery is available as an add-on starting at $1,000.

• Do you use WordPress?

  No. We build with Astro, a modern static site framework that produces faster, more secure websites than WordPress. If you need a CMS for content updates, we integrate lightweight options like Decap CMS or Keystatic that give you editing power without the bloat.

• Do you use AI to build websites?

  Yes, openly. AI tooling makes our builds faster and our testing more thorough, and that efficiency is part of why custom work starts at $2,000. What AI does not do is make decisions. Design direction, site structure, and every line that ships get reviewed and decided by a person. Hand-crafted, not templated.

• What's included in a typical project?

  The $2,000 build is 12 pages: 10 of your choice, plus a Privacy Policy and an Accessibility Statement. It includes design and development, mobile-responsive layouts, on-page SEO covering AI answer engines as well as Google, AI-assisted copywriting that we review and edit ourselves, stock and AI-generated images, and 3 rounds of revisions. If you have your own photography or copy, we use it.

• How much does a website cost?

  The build is $2,000 for 12 pages. Need more? Standard pages are $100 each and city or location pages are $50 each. Logo design is $250 — drawn by a third party we brief and manage, not in-house — and rush delivery starts at $1,000. Payment is split 50% to start and 50% when the site goes live. You get an itemized quote within 2 business days of telling us what you need — no pressure and no obligation.

• Are there monthly fees after launch?

  Not from us. We do not charge a subscription to keep your site online. You do pay two third-party costs: your domain name, renewed yearly through the registrar, and hosting, billed monthly or yearly by the host. Many of the sites we build run on free or low-cost hosting tiers, and we tell you which one your site needs and what it costs before launch. Both accounts stay in your name, so you can move providers whenever you want.

• What exactly do I own when the project is done?

  The design and the source code, outright — no license fees and no lock-in. Your domain and hosting are a different thing: those are registered in your name but rented, not owned. A domain is leased from the registrar year to year, and hosting is a service you keep paying for — let either lapse and the site goes down, no matter who wrote the code. Anything third-party that carries its own license or fee — a premium font, a stock photo, a booking or payment tool — is called out in your quote before we use it.
