PRIVACY
POLICY.

Last updated: August 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Smyle Digital Web Design LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information you provide when you visit smyledigital.com (the "Site"). This is an informational marketing website — we do not offer user accounts, e-commerce, or subscription services.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

The only personal information we ask you to provide is through our contact form, which collects:

  • Your full name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number (optional)
  • Your message or project description

We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry and, where relevant, to follow up about our web design services.

Contact Form Processing — Formspree

Our contact form is powered by Formspree, Inc., a third-party form-handling service. When you submit the form, your data is transmitted to and stored on Formspree's servers. Formspree processes your submission as a service provider on our behalf. We receive your submission via email notification and the Formspree dashboard.

For full details on how Formspree handles your data, please review the Formspree Privacy Policy.

Usage Data

When you visit the Site, certain technical information is automatically recorded by our web server and hosting infrastructure. This may include:

  • Your device's IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • The pages you visit and time spent on them
  • Date and time of your visit
  • Referring URL

This data is used for security monitoring, diagnosing technical issues, and understanding general traffic patterns. It is not linked to your identity unless you also submit a contact form.

Cookies and Analytics

We use two third-party analytics services to understand how visitors use the Site. Neither sets analytics cookies until you choose Accept on the cookie notice shown on your first visit — if you decline, Clarity does not load and Google Analytics runs without cookies.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, how you arrived at the Site, your approximate geographic location, and the type of device and browser you use. This data is aggregated and does not directly identify you.

You can learn how Google handles this data in the Google Privacy Policy. To opt out of Google Analytics across all websites, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarity, a behavioral analytics service provided by Microsoft Corporation. Clarity captures how you interact with the Site — including mouse movements, clicks, scrolls, and page interactions — through session replays and heatmaps. We use this to understand what's working on the Site and to improve usability. Clarity automatically masks the text you type into form fields; we do not use it to capture the contents of your contact form submissions.

Data collected by Clarity is processed as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Managing Cookies

The easiest way to opt out is to choose Decline on the cookie notice. You can also block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings, and clearing this site's data in your browser will reset your cookie choice. The Site works fine without cookies — declining will not affect your ability to browse or contact us.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your contact form inquiry
  • To provide information about our web design services
  • To maintain and improve the Site
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers or use it for automated decision-making.

Sharing Your Information

We may share your personal information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers. Formspree processes contact form submissions on our behalf as described above. Google (Google Analytics) and Microsoft (Clarity) process site usage data on our behalf as described in the Cookies and Analytics section.
  • Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
  • Business transfers. If Smyle Digital Web Design LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice if your data becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.

Retention of Your Data

We retain contact form submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and maintain business records — typically no longer than three years. Usage data collected automatically is generally retained for a shorter period and is not associated with individual identities.

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at the address below.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable privacy law to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@smyledigital.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.

Children's Privacy

This Site is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through our contact form, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Links to Other Websites

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites (for example, city government resources and external references). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies before submitting any personal information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
